Public Employment Services Office (PESO) Managers in Ilocos Norte elected their new set of officers, as they aim to strengthen partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) in labor and employment services.

In their 3rd Quarter Meeting held in Laoag City on August 11, 2022, Council of PESO Managers in Ilocos Norte Outgoing President Dr. Clemente Galiza of Bacarra welcome the newly-elected President, Anna Liza Gaspar of Piddig.

The other officers elected are: Burgos’ Gerson Ravelo as Vice President; Vintar’s Angela Sucab as Secretary; Solsona’s Rosell Batara as Assistant Secretary; San Nicolas’ Cathleen Joybel Dela Cruz as Treasurer; Pinili’s Mary Ann Therese Cabie as Auditor; Sarrat’s Bonifacio Baldonado as Public Information Officer; Northwestern University’s Charito Marcos as District 1 Board of Director (BOD); and Badoc’s Walter John Ordanel as District 2 BOD.

Regional Director Atty. Evelyn Ramos and Ilocos Norte Field Office Chief Janelyn Martin expressed confidence to the new set of officers that they shall be the driving force in effective, efficient, and productive employment facilitation in Ilocos Norte.

“The work of PESO managers in Ilocos Norte becomes all the more meaningful today, as we fully support the thrusts and policy directives of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. on job creation and sustainable employment not only for Ilocanos, but for all Filipinos,” said RD Ramos.

“It is truly our honor that the President hails from Ilocos Norte, and so we as PESO Managers should be proactive and dynamic in becoming benchmarks for employment services in the country,” she added.
