In an aim to align with the new thrusts and directives ushered in by the new administration, the Department of Labor and Employment Regional Office 1 (DOLE RO1) held its continuing Mid-Year Performance Assessment (MYPA) and July 2022 Management Committee (Mancom) Meeting on July 25, 2022, at the DOLE RO1 Conference Room, City of San Fernando, La Union.
DOLE RO1 Regional Director Atty. Evelyn Ramos underscores the importance of aligning and harmonizing with the governance thrusts bannered by Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma, which were all manifested at the DOLE-Wide MYPA held last week.
“This gathering is an opportunity to re-echo to you the orders underpinned by the new leadership, and I enjoin you all to embrace these fresh mandates with utmost vigor, enthusiasm and proactiveness,” said RD Ramos.
The Mancom members discussed the DOLE RO1’s localization and operationalization plan on the Department’s policy focus and decisions.
They also laid out recalibrated strategies to ensure alignment of commitments, and uphold continuity and sustainability in the implementation of programs, projects and activities.
To guarantee efficiency in service delivery, the Mancom members also agreed on solutions to internal issues and concerns, which includes manpower and physical requirements, and policy amendments.
